All our Kantha quilts are handmade in India created from vintage Indian cotton sarees ranging from 5 to 20 years old, making our entire stock completely unique. You’ll find no other quilt like this one, whether you use it as a bedspread, floor rug, throw or anything else it is a perfect colourful addition to any home. Its plush fabric is comfortable and soft and they are made by a unique Southern Asian embroidery technique called Kantha stitching this distinct method can be noticed throughout the piece. Due to the age of recycled garments used to make these quilts stains are to be expected, but we believe it is part of their story, individual character and allure.
Either side of each Kantha quilt is also unique on its own, images under this listing are the front and back side of one quilt.
