Our Story

Our Bells Boutique offers a selection of décor items unique to the Our Bells, bell tent hire businesses. Ranging from Indian inspired rag rugs and kantha quilts to purpose made bunting and bottle lights. This decor has been used by Our Bells branches for ten years and is what adds to our look and feel. Our Bells is first and foremost a bell tent business supplying beautiful tents for many events and special occasions from children’s parties to festivals and weddings. Our journey of fulfilling the desire to share these products with you, our customer, has begun.

At Our Bells, we believe in supporting the little guy and that each small change can make a big difference, this is why our ethos is centred around environmentally and ethically friendly sourcing of products and building strong relations with suppliers. Our main supplier for furnishings inside the bells is a small family run business based out of India who we have worked with and trusted for many years.

All our soft furnishings are made from 100% recycled fabrics saved from the Indian textiles industry. Our brand’s visual identity focuses around a southern Asian embroidery technique called Kantha, through which our quilts and cushions are made. Kantha is one of the oldest forms of needlecraft originating from India and can be traced back to 1500BCE. Kantha, meaning “old clothes” involves stitching multiple items of clothing together to make a new use, such as rugs, quilts and more. Its distinct pattern can be seen throughout the piece which we consider a work of art.
